I've registered my child, now what?
Player tryout will be in mid February and team drafts will be in late February. Teams will be assembled in March and coaches will be notified, then coaches will contact you directly with practice times and more specific information.
When are the practices and games?
Practices start in March with games beginning the first weeks of April. Individual team managers will inform players of specific dates and locations for practice/game information. Game schedules will also be available on the "Calendar" page of the navigation bar.
Based on our address, can my child play for your league?
You can click here for a B.G.L.L. boundary map. If you are unsure, please contact us before registering your child. Although we try and keep the information as up to date as possible, changes occur from time to time. *Do not attempt to violate the residence requirements. "Residence" means where your child lives - not where relatives live, where the child attends school, or where mail is sent. Violating the residence requirement will not only risk your child's ability to participate now and in the future, but it also risks the playing status of the child's team and the entire league. If you believe that your circumstance warrants special consideration, please contact B.G.L.L. so the appeal process can be completed prior to the start of the season.
Is my child old enough to play?
All children attaining ages 5 through 14 as of April 30, 2010, are eligible.
I'd like to volunteer, what could I do to help?
Our success depends on the volunteer support we receive, and we welcome your participation. If you are interested in helping with coaching, umpiring, or organizing, please complete the Volunteer Application form, found on the "Volunteer Info" page located on the navigation bar.
Please note: Little League now REQUIRES a completed Volunteer Application form and a criminal background check as conditions of participation.
If you have additional questions, please email us a contactus@bgll.org and someone will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
